Spring Arts Festival 2025

A Celebration of Creativity and Community at CAC

Spring at CAC feels different, and during the Spring Arts Festival, it comes alive with music, movement, color, and creativity. Over several days, Middle and High School students showcased their talents across every art form: visual arts, theater, film, band, choir, and more.

A Walk Through the Visual Arts Gallery

Stepping into the visual arts exhibition was like entering a world of imagination. Students filled the gallery spaces with an impressive variety of work, showcasing their creativity, technique, and personal voice. Visitors explored miniature sculptures, realistic and expressive portraits, bold abstract designs, and intricate mixed media pieces that captured emotions and ideas in striking ways. The exhibit invited everyone—students, parents, and staff—to slow down, reflect, and celebrate the visual storytelling our students are capable of.

Music That Moved the Heart

Throughout the festival, music echoed across campus—sometimes softly from the strings ensemble, and other times powerfully from solo vocalists and full choirs. Students performed beloved classics such as Stay, On My Own, and Dancing Queen, each rendition filled with emotion and heart.

A highlight was the collaboration between the Middle School choir and strings ensemble, whose touching performances of Hallelujah and Somewhere Over the Rainbow created goosebump moments for the audience. The High School choir closed one evening with an electric set that had the entire room clapping, singing, and dancing along to We Are the Champions and Dancing Queen—a true celebration of musical joy and unity.

Theater, Film, and the Art of Storytelling

In the Black Box Theater, students shared their creative storytelling talents through short film screenings and live dramatic performances. The Middle School drama group brought energy and humor to the stage with clever, original skits that showcased both acting and collaboration. Meanwhile, the film screenings offered a glimpse into students’ ideas, editing skills, and ability to bring a narrative to life visually and emotionally. These performances underscored CAC’s commitment to giving students real platforms to explore, refine, and share their artistic voices.

A Joyful, Unforgettable Finale

The festival came to a close with a relaxed yet unforgettable lunchtime performance. The entire CAC choir, joined by the beloved teacher band, delivered a surprise set that turned the MS plaza into a spontaneous celebration. Students, teachers, and parents gathered, clapping, singing, and swaying to the music. The vibe? Pure fun. It was the perfect closing moment—uplifting, inclusive, and full of school spirit.

More Than a Showcase—A Creative Journey

The Spring Arts Festival is much more than an event on the calendar. It’s an opportunity for students to step into the shoes of working artists, share their passions, and experience the power of creative expression in a community setting. Whether through a brushstroke, a note of music, or a scene on stage, our students reminded us all that creativity isn’t just something to be admired—it’s something to be felt, shared, and celebrated.
