Performing Arts
At CAC, the performing arts ignite passion, confidence, and collaboration from PreK through Grade 12. Students develop artistic and technical skills in theater, choir, and instrumental music, with opportunities to participate in concerts, musicals, and a variety of other performances. As a founding member of ISTA and a proud AMIS participant, CAC connects students with global arts communities. Our campus boasts a 500-seat theater and a black box space, providing a dynamic environment where students bring stories to life through acting, music, and stagecraft.

Students explore diverse media, including digital art, sculpture, painting, photography, printmaking, and design, while also developing an understanding of art history and cultural connections. In elementary school, creativity is a daily part of the student experience. All students take art, music, and drama as part of their specialist classes, exploring different artistic mediums and performance styles. Beyond the classroom, young artists and performers can join the elementary choir, participate in the annual musical, or engage in various arts activities through the after-school program.
Middle school students dive deeper into the arts through a wide range of elective courses in both visual and performing arts. Sixth graders get an introduction to art through the exploratory wheel program, while students in all grades can select electives that match their artistic interests. The middle school musical provides a fun opportunity for young performers, and student artwork brings color and creativity to the hallways.
High school students have even more opportunities to refine their artistic talents, with diverse electives in visual and performing arts, including IB Theatre and IB Visual Arts. Students can showcase their work in exhibitions, participate in the National Art Honor Society, and perform in the high school play or musical. With light-filled studio spaces and student artwork displayed throughout the campus, CAC provides an inspiring environment for young artists to thrive.
