CAC 2050
Learning for the Future

Curiosity, creativity, and community come together at Cairo American College. Since 1945, our motto has been simple: Learn. Explore. Have Fun. Today, that spirit drives CAC 2050, a future-focused learning pathway preparing students to thrive in a world of rapid change.

Exploring Tomorrow

Starting in Grade 6, students dive into fields like blockchain, green energy, extended reality, entrepreneurship, ethics, artificial intelligence, and the future of finance. By Grades 7 and 8, they apply learning to real-world challenges such as designing XR simulations, creating renewable energy solutions, and innovating in their communities.

DISRUPTIVE CERTIFICATES

Launching soon, the Middle School Disruptive Certificate Program will recognize students at Beginner or Advanced levels, one of the first programs of its kind worldwide.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

By high school, students move into frontier areas such as decentralized finance, global entrepreneurship, and industries still emerging.

CAC 2050 equips them not just to keep pace with technology but to anticipate disruption and shape what comes next.

EDUCATORS LEADING THE WAY

The program is guided by futurist leadership and a dedicated faculty team. Head of School Jared Harris and Middle School Principal Courtney Bailey have shared CAC’s forward-thinking approach at international conferences. Supporting this vision, Todd Schumacher specializes in design thinking, sustainable futures, green energy, and design technology. Jorge Villafuerte focuses across middle and high school on the future of finance, decentralized finance, and market principles. Our newest member, Tim Chaney, brings expertise in disruptive technology, extended reality, artificial intelligence, and design engineering.
